Photography has always been, and it will remain, my first creative love. In my 20-year career as a digital artist, designer and art director, I often used the camera viewfinder as both a tool and as a refuge; a gate to the quiet inner space.

I was born in Croatia, and had a keen interest in photography from the time I received my first camera at the age of 16. Countless nights spent in an improvised home darkroom introduced me to the basics of film and paper chemistry, and the effort required to produce a satisfying representation of my initial capture. Those traditional techniques shaped my approach after the switch to digital photography and to this day, I find my early experiences indispensable to my work.

These days, my visual direction has moved to exploring graphically strong landscapes and abstracts, and this remains my main source of inspiration.
